Business and Office WiFi in Berkshire

Office WiFi and networking services for small businesses that need reliable coverage, clean guest access and stable connections for calls, cloud tools and shared devices.

Office Networks Done Properly

Why Offices Need More Than a Router

A single broadband router in a cupboard is rarely enough for a busy Berkshire office. Meeting rooms drop calls, far desks struggle, printers fall offline, and guests end up on the same network as staff.

We design office WiFi around the rooms and devices that matter day to day. That usually means correctly placed access points, sensible network separation, and data cabling where wired connections keep the system stable.

How We Work

How an Office WiFi Install Works

A clear process keeps small office installs predictable and low disruption.

Site Assessment

We review the floor plate, desk density, meeting rooms, stock areas and current weak spots before recommending kit.

Network Design

Access points, guest separation and Cat6 are planned for the unit you have. Awkward sites can start with a WiFi survey.

Professional Install

Ceiling or wall APs, tidy cable routes and labelled patching so the system is manageable after we leave.

Test and Handover

We test staff coverage, guest access and call quality in the rooms that matter, then explain what was installed.

Same Day Service

Fast installation and troubleshooting in many areas.

Truly Local

Based near Windsor. No call centres, just local engineers.

Guaranteed Work

Every installation backed by our workmanship guarantee.

Ongoing Support

Friendly help and advice long after the install.

Every engineer is DBS checked, fully insured and working at heights certified for safe ladder and roof work. As a business, Berkshire WiFi is Cyber Essentials Plus certified.

Signs Your Office Has Outgrown Its Router

These are the usual reasons Berkshire small businesses book an office WiFi install:

  • Meeting rooms that drop video calls
  • Desks at the far end of the floor with weak WiFi
  • Guests sharing the same network as staff systems
  • Printers, docks or POS terminals going offline
  • No wired points for critical desks or access points
  • Busy neighbouring WiFi flooding the air in shared buildings

What Our Office WiFi Service Includes

A typical small office job covers design, install and a handover you can actually use.

  • Assessment of layout, desk density and weak spots
  • Ceiling or wall mounted business grade access points
  • Separate staff and guest networks with sensible security
  • Cat6 to desks, APs, meeting room kit and cameras where needed
  • Neat patching and labelling for easy future support
  • Testing during working patterns and a clear handover

Why Choose Us

Why Choose Berkshire WiFi for Office Networks

We install practical office networks for small teams, not enterprise theatre for a ten person floor.

Designed for Real Work

Coverage is planned around calls, cloud tools and shared devices, not where the ISP left the socket.

Staff and Guest Separation

Visitors get internet without sitting on the same network as files, printers and payment systems.

Wired Where It Earns It

Access points and critical desks on data cabling stay stable when the floor fills up.

Local Commercial Work

Based near Windsor, we install across Berkshire workplaces including Slough, Reading, Maidenhead and Bracknell.

CCTV Ready Networks

If you also need cameras, we can integrate CCTV without starving staff WiFi for airtime.

Clear Handover

You leave knowing the SSIDs, where the kit lives, and who to call if headcount or layout changes.

Business Grade vs Consumer Kit

When Consumer Kit Is Not Enough

Consumer mesh can limp through a tiny room. Once you have meeting rooms, stock areas, guest access and a dozen phones, you need placed access points and a backbone that does not collapse at 10am.

If the layout is awkward or previous kit failed, a WiFi survey maps the gaps before we order hardware. Cabling and APs are then quoted as a fixed office install, not an open-ended repair.

Town pages for Slough, Reading, Maidenhead and Bracknell cover the commercial stock we see most often.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in your office WiFi service?

Assessment, design, access points, switches and data cabling as needed. Typical setups include staff WiFi, a separate guest network, wired desk or meeting room points, and clear labelling. Contact us for a fixed quote.

Do you work with small offices and shared workspaces?

Yes. Most business work is with small offices, clinics, retail units, workshops and home based businesses that have outgrown a single ISP router. We keep designs practical rather than over specifying enterprise kit.

Can you separate staff and guest WiFi?

Yes. Isolated guest networks are standard so visitors get online without accessing shared drives, printers or internal systems. Staff SSIDs stay on stronger security for calls and cloud apps.

Will office WiFi help if our broadband is already fast?

Often yes. Fast broadband into a cupboard still leaves meeting rooms and far desks weak. Correct AP placement and wired backhaul let you use the speed you already pay for. A WiFi survey helps when previous kit failed.

Can you install ethernet as part of the same job?

Yes. Data cabling is often the foundation. We can run Cat6 to desks, access points, CCTV and meeting room kit in the same visit.

How long does a typical small office install take?

Many small offices finish in a day. Multi room premises, loft runs or external cabling take longer. We confirm timescale before work starts so disruption stays low.

Do you cover businesses outside Berkshire?

We regularly work across Berkshire and into Surrey, Buckinghamshire and West London. Town pages for Slough, Reading, Maidenhead and Bracknell. Unsure? Contact us with the postcode.
